Dr Blender is a state-of-the-art service that has a music recognition system to fetch songs details from many sources of music streams and files. It is designed for DJs, music producers, and anyone who wants to identify tracks within DJ sets, mixtapes, or live streams.
Dr Blender is not a free service — our prices are fair and honest. However, every new account gets one complimentary Blend, credited automatically on signup. This means you can identify one track completely free of charge before deciding to buy more.
Every new account gets one complimentary Blend, credited automatically on signup. Simply sign up for a free account and your first Blend will be ready to use immediately. No credit card is required to create an account.
A Blend is a piece of credit. Each Blend allows you to scan one file or one link. For example, submitting a YouTube link or uploading an MP3 file each uses one Blend.
Dr Blender supports the following platforms: YouTube, SoundCloud, Mixcloud, Bandcamp, Audiomack, HearThis.at, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter / X, Reddit, Vimeo, Beatport, Beatsource, and MP3 Upload. Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, Amazon Music and Deezer are not supported — their audio is DRM-protected and cannot be downloaded for scanning. If your mix is on one of those platforms, please paste the equivalent YouTube or SoundCloud link instead.
Dr Blender supports MP3 files with a 100MB size limit.
After a successful scan, you will receive the Artist Name, Track Name, and Album for each identified song found within your submitted mix or file.
Our audio fingerprinting technology is highly accurate, but it can only identify a track if it exists in our recognition partner's catalog. Small-label, promo-only, or limited-release tracks are sometimes not part of that catalog, and a DJ edit, VIP mix, or bootleg version of a track can also go unmatched even when the original release is recognized. This is a coverage gap in the underlying music database, not a fault in how your mix was scanned — every submission is scanned from start to finish. Coverage for mainstream and widely-distributed releases is excellent.
No you cannot. Dr Blender is not an MP3 download service. We are a music identification service — we identify tracks, not distribute them.
Buying Blends is done via our Price Plan page. Firstly, you will need to sign in to your account. Then navigate to the Price Plan and select the package that suits you.
We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard and Maestro cards. All transactions are processed securely using 128-bit SSL encryption.
All information is transferred using 128-bit SSL encryption. Credit card and PayPal transactions are processed via Network Solutions, a trusted payment processor.
There are no monthly or hidden fees for credit card processing. You only pay for the Blends you purchase. Simple and transparent.
